Get alerts on your phone
A notification when a major call comes in for the towns you pick: fires, hazmat and gas leaks, serious crashes and other big calls. Routine calls never alert, and medical calls are never sent.
- No account or email. The alert settings are tied to this browser; turn them off any time here.
- At most 6 alerts an hour, so a busy night won't flood your phone.
- On a call's page, Follow this call sends one notification when it's updated and one when it clears.
Alerts come from the same public feeds as the site, so they can be minutes late, and a call can be missing. For an emergency, call 911. What we keep for alerts is in the privacy policy.
